God spoke to me

Hi it’s Lucy (Callaghan) here,
I’ve been asking God to speak to me in the past few months and sometimes I think He has said something but I’ve questioned if its my thoughts. But today I was in my room colouring the Epic Kids picture for this sunday. I thanked God for the snow I could see out of the window and suddenly Job 11v3 came into my head. I looked it up in my bible and it was just two rhetorical questions so I read a bit further on and got to verse 5 and 6 which said ‘Oh how I wish that God would speak, that he would open his lips against you and disclose to you the secrets of wisdom, for true wisdom has two sides.’
‘Oh how I wish God would speak’ has been exactly my prayer and this time I felt sure God had spoken to me. I am amazed, i can’t believe it, I knew God would speak to me at some point at the right time.

God of the streets

Our youngest daughter works in Intensive Care at Charing Cross Hospital. In the week, she sent us this moving video - the lyrics of 'Amazing Grace' wafting out from the hospital across neighbouring streets.

On Thursday this week (2nd) my friend is leading worship by zoom for 1000+ people within an important meeting for the ministry he is part of to Farsi speakers around the world.
